The Pleasure Practice Community Agreements

The Pleasure Practice is a women only community created for women who want to explore pleasure as a practice for everyday life.

It’s a space for learning, conversation, reflection, and connection around pleasure, embodiment, sexuality, intimacy, relationships, and self trust.

The Pleasure Practice community hosts the Pleasure Ed course, the community forum, live conversations, and we’re creating a space where women can ask honest questions, share their experiences, challenge old beliefs, and get curious about what it means to experience more pleasure and aliveness in their lives.

Because the conversations here can be personal and vulnerable, the quality of the space matters. These agreements help create the trust, respect, privacy, and openness that allow that kind of exploration to happen.

1. The Pleasure Practice is a women only community.

The Pleasure Practice community is a women only learning and community space.

This space was intentionally created for women to explore pleasure, sexuality, embodiment, intimacy, relationships, and self trust with other women. Because these conversations can be deeply personal and vulnerable, maintaining a women only environment is an important part of creating the container.

By joining The Pleasure Practice and participating in the community, you are affirming that you are a woman and agreeing to respect the purpose and boundaries of this space.

Please do not use the community to debate, challenge, question, or undermine its women only nature.

If you are not a woman, this is not the appropriate space for you to participate in.

2. What’s shared here stays here

Treat other members’ stories, questions, experiences, and personal information as confidential.

Please don’t screenshot, record, copy, forward, repost, or share another member’s contributions outside of The Pleasure Practice community without their explicit permission.

You’re welcome to share your own experience. You’re not entitled to share someone else’s.

3. Speak from your own experience

There is no single right way to experience pleasure, sexuality, relationships, desire, or your body.

Use language like:

“I’ve noticed…”

“For me…”

“My experience has been…”

rather than presenting your experience as universal truth.

Curiosity is welcome. Certainty about someone else’s experience is not.

4. No unsolicited fixing

You don’t have to solve someone else's problem.

Before offering advice, ask yourself whether it’s actually being requested. Sometimes the most supportive thing you can offer is simply witnessing someone and letting their experience be theirs.

5. Consent applies here, too

Consent isn't only something we talk about in relation to sex.

It applies to how we interact with one another in this community.

Ask before moving into someone’s DMs, offering personal guidance, or engaging more deeply with something vulnerable they've shared.

And remember: no response is also a response.

6. This is a space for sexuality, not sexualization

We’re going to talk openly about sex, desire, bodies, pleasure, fantasies, relationships, and all the things many of us weren't given a safe place to talk about.

That does not make this a space for sexual interaction between members.

Please don't flirt with, proposition, solicit, objectify, or sexually comment on other members.

Open conversation does not mean open access to one another.

7. Be kind, but don't require agreement

You won't agree with everyone here.

That's okay.

You can disagree, ask questions, and offer another perspective without shaming, belittling, diagnosing, or attacking someone.

We're here to expand our understanding, not win arguments.

8. No shame around bodies, sexuality, or desire

There is no place here for body shaming, slut shaming, sexual shaming, homophobia, transphobia, racism, or other forms of identity based harassment or degradation.

You don't have to understand someone's experience to treat them with respect.

9. Honor your own boundaries

You are always allowed to participate at your own pace.

You can skip a practice. You can choose not to answer a question. You can leave a conversation. You can take a break.

You never owe the community your vulnerability.

Your “no,” “not yet,” and “not for me” are enough.

10. Share with intention

The community is here for connection and meaningful exploration, not performance.

Share what feels useful, honest, and relevant to the work we're doing together.

You don't need to have the perfect insight or the most profound story.

You can simply be here.

11. Remember what this space is

The Pleasure Practice community provides education, practices, reflection, and community.

It is not therapy, medical care, crisis support, or a substitute for individualized professional care.

If something brings up more than you can comfortably hold on your own, you're encouraged to seek support from an appropriately qualified professional.

12. I reserve the right to protect the space

The intention of these agreements is not to police anyone's experience. It's to protect the conditions that allow this community to exist.

If someone's behavior violates these agreements, creates an unsafe or hostile environment, or undermines the purpose of the community, I may remove their access to the forum, live calls, or other community spaces.

When necessary, access to The Pleasure Practice or any assets that are nested within it including Pleasure Ed may also be revoked.

One final thing

You don't need to be an expert in pleasure to be here.

You don't need to be confident, embodied, healed, sensual, orgasmic, or even particularly comfortable talking about sex.

You just need to be willing to get curious.

Bring your questions. Bring your awkwardness. Bring your skepticism. Bring your desire.

And bring respect for the women exploring alongside you.

This is a space we create together.

Let's make it one where women can tell the truth.
